Top 2 Pro does not change the 2021 state legislative boundaries.

The Top 2 Pro map was created by analyzing 2022 State House election results. Any district where the second place finisher in the general election won over 33.33 percent of the vote was deemed a Top 2 Pro winner*. Twenty-eight House districts went for bipartisan representation — the purple districts. The 33.33 percent threshold could attract more serious candidates, which sets the stage for more purple districts. Top 2 Pro also creates space for 3rd Party and independent candidates.
